It has come to our knowledge and notice that various trademarks without prior authorization or license are displayed on websites. Examples of unauthorized display and use are:
- Combination of JVC ("JVC®") and Taiyo Yuden ("TAIYO YUDEN®");
- Comparison of our product No. with Taiyo Yuden product No.;
- Mention of Taiyo Yuden ("TAIYO YUDEN®");
- Mention of Taiyo Yuden as the manufacturer of the products.
It is brought to your notice that JVC is the registered owner of the trademark "JVC®". Accordingly, you are required to obtain prior authorization or license from JVC for any use of the mark. Correspondingly, Taiyo Yuden is the registered owner of the trademark "TAIYO YUDEN®" and its permission or license is required for any use.
The above examples tarnish and dilute the brand name of JVC and mislead customers regarding our optical media products. If you display the above mentioned information and any other expressions of a similar nature, we call upon you to delete them from your websites.
